About the wine
Cabernet Sauvignon is the most planted red grape in the world, and in Chile's Central Valley it gets plenty of sun to ripen without losing its backbone. Vitrea Andes makes an entry-level version, straightforward, without heavy oak. Deep ruby colour, aromas of cassis, bell pepper and a trace of tobacco leaf. Firm but tamed tannins on the palate, cleansing acidity, a medium finish. A red for red meat, no ceremony. Serve between 16°C and 18°C, in a medium glass. Here, half bottle 375ml only.
