About the wine
A red from Talenti in Montalcino, the house famous for its Brunello. This is the IGT — Sangiovese (the Brunello grape) with a touch of Petit Verdot for structure. Deep ruby color, aromas of black cherry, blackberry, a base of tobacco and a trace of tar typical of Sangiovese. Firm on the palate, present tannins, vibrant acidity, a long and slightly spiced finish. A serious red, it asks for food to match: grilled red meat, aged cheeses. Serve between 16°C and 18°C, decant.
