About the wine
An Alentejo red by Quinta do Paral in Vidigueira, an Alentejo sub-region of winemaking tradition. A cut of Aragonez (Tempranillo in Portuguese), Alicante Bouschet (a teinturier grape) and Trincadeira. Deep purplish color — a legacy of the Alicante. Aromas of ripe black fruit, spice and a balsamic base. Full on the palate, firm tannins, generous alcohol typical of the Alentejo, a long finish. A winter red, for a heavy dish. Serve between 16°C and 18°C, decant 20 minutes.
