Finca Manzanos 1890 Tempranillo

A Tempranillo from Bodegas Manzanos in Rioja, from the line the fourth generation of the Fernández de Manzanos family created to show what they mean by a Rioja wine. The grapes come from the vineyards around the winery, and the wine spends time in oak barrels before bottling. Deep ruby with violet hints. On the nose, red and black fruit (strawberry, raspberry, blackberry) and licorice, with vanilla and spice from the oak. Balanced, silky and ripe on the palate, with a mineral finish. Pairs well with red meats, pasta in tomato sauce and cured meats. 13.5% alcohol. Serve between 16°C and 18°C.
